Wasia Project are bringing their UK tour to Glasgow

If you are the sort of person who plans a trip around a gig, Glasgow has just handed you another excuse. Wasia Project will play SWG3 Galvanizers in the city’s West End on November 4, 2026, with tickets due to go on pre-sale on June 11 and general sale on June 12.

The timing matters if you are trying to keep costs down. A confirmed tour stop gives you a clear target for booking cheap transport, basic accommodation nearby, or even a quick overnight stay if you are coming in from elsewhere in Scotland or the UK.

The duo are siblings Olivia Hardy, who handles vocals and guitar, and William Gao, who contributes keyboards, piano and vocals. Gao will also be familiar to many Netflix viewers from his role as Tao Xu in Heartstopper.

Who are Wasia Project?

Wasia Project first appeared in 2019 with the single Why Don’t U Love Me. They followed that with the EP How Can I Pretend? in 2022 and Isotope in August 2024.

Their Glasgow date comes ahead of the release of Nocturne, which is due out on September 18, 2026. That gives fans a decent runway to learn the new material before the November show, which is more considerate than turning up and pretending to know the words.

Why this matters for budget travelers

For concert chasers, a dated announcement is useful because it lets you build a cheaper plan instead of panic-booking later. Glasgow is well connected by train and coach, which usually means you can avoid the grim tax of last-minute travel. Not romantic, but practical.

SWG3 sits in the West End, which is handy if you want to stay somewhere walkable rather than paying for late-night transport after the show. That part of the city is also a common base for visitors who want food, bars, and easy access to the venue without needing a complicated map and a prayer.

Quick trip-planning checklist

  • Set reminders for the pre-sale and general sale times.
  • Compare coach, rail, and off-peak fares before you buy a ticket.
  • Look at budget hotels, hostels, and short-stay rooms in the West End.
  • If you are travelling from outside Glasgow, check whether a one-night stay is cheaper than late-night return transport.

For Glasgow visitors, this is a straightforward one

There is no mystery package here. It is a UK tour stop, a West End venue, and two sale dates worth marking in your calendar. If you were already thinking about a Glasgow night out in late 2026, this is one to keep an eye on.
