Carnival Cruise FunPacks Offer Four New Bundles for Drinks, WiFi and Dining

Carnival Cruise Line has introduced four FunPacks combining drinks, WiFi and selected dining, shore excursion and other benefits, with prices ranging from $25 to $99 per person per day. The Kidstarter, Zero Proof, Social and Epic bundles must be purchased by 30 October 2026, for sailings departing between 31 October 2026 and 31 December 2027.

You buy the packages before your cruise through Carnival’s My Cruise Manager. Carnival advertises savings of 35–55% compared with buying the included items separately, according to Open Jaw’s report of the announcement. What you actually save depends on your package, sailing length and which benefits you use.

“We’re excited to launch FunPacks, our largest collection of packages to date, making it easier for guests to bundle the experiences they enjoy the most and save money,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

What Carnival’s Four FunPacks Include

The bundles pair different beverage packages with progressively higher WiFi tiers. Good to know: excursion and dining allowances are one-time benefits for the sailing, separate from the daily drinks allowance and daily package price.

Kidstarter$25Bottomless Bubbles soda package; Social WiFi1,000 arcade tokens, a lanyard and 50% off bulk candy at Cherry on Top
Zero Proof$50CHEERS! Zero Proof non-alcoholic drinks; Value WiFiOne $50 excursion discount and one $25 specialty dining discount
Social$60Unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, three alcoholic drinks daily worth up to $20 each; Premium WiFiOne excursion worth up to $100, one specialty meal worth up to $55, and eligible spa and photography discounts
Epic$99Full CHEERS! beverage package; Premium WiFiTwo excursions worth up to $100 each, two specialty meals worth up to $55 each, eligible spa and photography discounts, sparkling wine and laundry

According to Cruise Hive’s detailed report, Kidstarter is available exclusively to children aged 3–17. Its Cherry on Top benefit covers bulk candy purchases at the onboard shop.

Zero Proof combines Carnival’s unlimited non-alcoholic beverage package with two discounts. You can use the $50 shore excursion discount and $25 specialty dining discount once each during the sailing.

Social introduces CHEERS! Social, a beverage option exclusive to that FunPack. Each of its three daily alcoholic drinks has a $20 value limit. Any unused alcoholic drink allowance expires at the end of the cruise day.

Both Social and Epic include 50% off eligible spa treatments and eligible Dreams Studio photography packages. Epic also includes a bottle of sparkling wine and one bag of wash-and-fold laundry service, alongside its larger excursion and dining allowances.

Cabin Rules and Redemption Limits Affect the Value

Cruise Hive reports that if a guest aged 21 or older buys a FunPack, every guest aged 21 or older in the same stateroom must purchase the same FunPack. With Kidstarter, there is no requirement for every child sharing a cabin to buy the package.

Before you add up the savings, check these exclusions and limits on the excursion and dining benefits:

  • Faster to the Fun is excluded from the shore excursion benefits.
  • Bonsai Teppanyaki and The Chef’s Table are excluded from the dining benefits.
  • Social and Epic’s included specialty meals must cost $55 or less. You cannot put the $55 allowance towards a higher-priced meal and pay the difference.
  • You can apply the $100 excursion allowance to a more expensive eligible excursion and pay the difference.
  • If an eligible meal or excursion costs less than its allowance, you lose the unused value.

Unused benefits are non-refundable, and you must select dining and excursions before departure. Scott’s Cruises reports that dining, excursion, spa and Dreams Studio benefits must be reserved in My Cruise Manager no later than three days before sailing. Guest Services cannot add them after that deadline.

Scott’s Cruises also reports that you must buy FunPacks for every day of the cruise. For departures from Galveston, New York and Norfolk, Social and Epic’s alcohol benefits begin at 6am on the second day, with pricing adjusted for those ports.

Booking Deadline Comes Ahead of Pricing Changes

The FunPacks follow Carnival’s previous Value packages. The advertised savings compare the bundles with buying all included items individually. If you would skip some of those purchases, the package will offer you less value.

The launch also comes ahead of another change to onboard extras. According to Open Jaw, Carnival will introduce variable pricing for beverage packages and WiFi plans from 1 December 2026, based on sailing length, itinerary and season.

If your departure falls within the eligible window, you can review the FunPack available for your booking in My Cruise Manager. The purchase deadline is 30 October 2026. Check the cabin purchase rule, benefit exclusions and advance reservation requirements before deciding whether the package is worth it for your trip.
